Momofuku Ando (* March 5, 1910 in Taiwan under Japanese rule; † January 5, 2007 in Ikeda) was a taiwanese-Japanese businessman, created instant noodle (ramyeon), Nissin Chikin Ramen. He was 96 years old. He was married to Masako Andō. He had at least 1 child (1 son). He studied at Ritsumeikan University. He received 4 awards, including Order of the Rising Sun, 2nd class, Medal with Blue Ribbon. His cause of death was heart failure. He was buried at Kuhonji Temple.
