Biography
Mongo Beti (* June 30, 1932 in Mbalmayo; † October 7, 2001 in Douala) was a cameroonian writer. He was 69 years old. He was married to Odile Tobner. His education included Lycée Pierre-Corneille, Aix-Marseille University (1896-1971) and Aix-Marseille University. He was awarded the Prix Sainte-Beuve.
