Biography
Baba Amte (* December 26, 1914 in Hinganghat; † February 9, 2008 in Chandrapur) was an indian freedom fighter, social worker. He was 93 years old. He studied at Calcutta School of Tropical Medicine. His faith was atheism. He received 10 awards, including Ramon Magsaysay Award, United Nations Prize in the Field of Human Rights. His cause of death was cancer.
