Biography
Nicanor Parra (* September 5, 1914 in San Fabián; † January 23, 2018 in La Reina) was a chilean writer, poet, mathematician, and physicist. He was 103 years old. His education included Brown University, St Catherine's College, University of Chile, Internado Nacional Barros Arana and University of Oxford. He received 7 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Miguel de Cervantes Prize.
