Biography
Ornette Coleman (* March 9, 1930 in Fort Worth; † June 11, 2015 in Manhattan) was an american jazz saxophonist, violinist, trumpeter, and composer. He was 85 years old. He studied at I.M. Terrell High School. He received 8 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, MacArthur Fellows Program. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery.
