Ovadia Joseph (* September 23, 1920 in Baghdad; β October 7, 2013 in Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital) was a talmudic scholar, posek and Sephardi Chief Rabbi of Israel from 1973 to 1983. He was 93 years old. He was married to Margalit Joseph. He had at least 1 child (1 son). He studied at Porat Yosef Yeshiva. His faith was Judaism. He was awarded the Israel Prize. He was buried at Sanhedria Cemetery.
