Biography
Paavo Haavikko (* January 25, 1931 in Helsinki; † October 6, 2008 in Helsinki) was a finnish poet and writer. He was 77 years old. He was married to Marja-Liisa Vartio and Ritva Haavikko. He received 8 awards, including Eino Leino Prize, Aleksis Kivi Award. His cause of death was disease. He was buried at Hietaniemi cemetery.
