Patricia Bath (* November 4, 1942 in Harlem; † May 30, 2019 in San Francisco) was an american ophthalmologist and inventor. She was 76 years old. Her education included Howard University, Hunter College and Bayard Rustin Educational Complex. Her awards include Fellow of the Optical Society and National Inventors Hall of Fame.
