Paul Janssen (* September 12, 1926 in Turnhout; † November 11, 2003 in Rome) was a belgian scientist, founder of Janssen Pharmaceutica. He was 77 years old. His education included Ghent University, UCLouvain, University of Namur and St Joseph College, Turnhout. He received 8 awards, including Scheele Award, Canada Gairdner International Award.
