Biography of Paul Josef Cordes

Paul Josef Cordes (* 5. September 1934 in Kirchhundem; † 15. March 2024 in Rome) was a german Roman Catholic cardinal and archbishop. He was 89 years old. He studied at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. His faith was Catholic Church. His awards include Knight Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, honorary doctorate from the Catholic University of Lublin and Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
