Biography
Péter Esterházy (* April 14, 1950 in Budapest; † July 14, 2016 in Budapest) was a hungarian writer. He was 66 years old. He was married to Margit Reén. He studied at Eötvös Loránd University. He received 10 awards, including Kossuth Prize, Herder Prize. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer. He was buried at Roman Catholic church and Esterházy Mausoleum in Nagyganna, Ganna.
