Peter Hacks (* March 21, 1928 in Wrocław; † August 28, 2003 in Groß Machnow) was a german writer. He was 75 years old. He was married to Anna Elisabeth Wiede. He studied at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. He received 4 awards, including German Critics' Prize, Alex-Wedding-Preis. He was buried at Berlin.
