Biography
Peter Matthiessen (* May 22, 1927 in New York City; † April 5, 2014 in Sagaponack) was an american novelist. He was 86 years old. He was married to Patricia Southgate. His education included Yale University, Hotchkiss School and St. Bernard's School. His faith was Jewish people. He received 7 awards, including John Burroughs Medal, Helmerich Award. His cause of death was leukemia.
