Biography
Philip Levine (* January 10, 1928 in Detroit; † February 14, 2015 in Fresno) was a jewish-American poet. He was 87 years old. His education included Wayne State University, University of Iowa and Central High School. He received 6 awards, including Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, Guggenheim Fellowship. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
