Pierre Messmer (* March 20, 1916 in Vincennes; † August 29, 2007 in 5th arrondissement of Paris) was a 83rd Prime Minister of France. He was 91 years old. His education included École Nationale de la France d'Outre-Mer, Lycée Louis-le-Grand, Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales and Lycée Charlemagne. His faith was Catholic Church. His awards include Commander of the order of Nichan Iftikhar and Pierre Lafue Prize. His cause of death was cancer. He was buried at Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys.
