Biography
Piet de Jong (* April 3, 1915 in Apeldoorn; † July 27, 2016 in The Hague) was a prime minister of the Netherlands. He was 101 years old. He was married to Anneke Bartels. He had 3 children. He studied at Royal Netherlands Naval College. His faith was Catholic Church. His awards include Great Silver Medal of Honour for Services to the Republic of Austria, Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Leopold II and Herinneringsmedaille 1962. He was buried at The Hague Roman Catholic Cemetery.
