Rafael Sánchez Ferlosio (* December 4, 1927 in Rome; † April 1, 2019 in Madrid) was a writer from Spain. He was 91 years old. He was married to Carmen Martín Gaite. He had at least 1 child (1 daughter). His education included University of Madrid, Escuela Oficial de Cine and College of San Jose, Villafranca de los Barros. He received 8 awards, including Miguel de Cervantes Prize, Premio Nadal. He was buried at La Almudena Cemetery.
