Ramsey Lewis (* May 27, 1935 in Chicago; † September 12, 2022 in Chicago) was an american jazz composer. He was 87 years old. His education included DePaul University, Wells Community Academy High School, Chicago College of Performing Arts and Crystal Lake Central High School. He was awarded the NEA Jazz Masters.
