Raymond Tomlinson (* April 23, 1941 in Amsterdam; † March 5, 2016 in Lincoln) was an american computer programmer. He was 74 years old. His education included Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received 4 awards, including Princess of Asturias Award for Technical and Scientific Research, Eduard-Rhein Cultural Award. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
