Renate Dorrestein (* January 25, 1954 in Amsterdam; † May 4, 2018 in Aerdenhout) was a dutch author, journalist, feminist. She was 64 years old. She studied at International Writing Program. She was awarded the Opzij Literature prize. Her cause of death was esophageal cancer.
