Robert Jarvik (* May 11, 1946 in Midland; † May 26, 2025 in New York City) was an american inventor, creator of the Jarvik-7 artificial heart. He was 79 years old. He was married to Marilyn vos Savant. He had 2 children. His education included Syracuse University, New York University Tandon School of Engineering and University of Utah School of Medicine.
