Roberta Peters (* May 4, 1930 in The Bronx; † January 18, 2017 in Rye) was an american operatic soprano. She was 86 years old. She was awarded the National Medal of Arts. Her cause of death was Parkinson's disease. She was buried at Westchester Hills Cemetery.
