Roger Peyrefitte (* August 17, 1907 in Castres; † November 5, 2000 in 16th arrondissement of Paris) was a french diplomat and writer. He was 93 years old. He was married to Alain-Philippe Malagnac. He studied at Sciences Po. He was awarded the Prix Renaudot. His cause of death was Parkinson's disease. He was buried at Alet-les-Bains.
