Biography
Roman Vlad (* December 29, 1919 in Chernivtsi; † September 21, 2013 in Rome) was an italian-Romanian composer. He was 93 years old. He was married to Licia Vlad Borrelli. His education included Sapienza University of Rome, Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and Accademia Musicale Chigiana. He received 6 awards, including Gold Medal of the Italian Order of Merit for Culture and Art, Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres.
