Ronit Elkabetz (* November 27, 1964 in Beersheba; † April 19, 2016 in Tel Aviv) was an israeli actress and filmmaker. She was 51 years old. She was married to Avner Yashar. She had 2 children. Her faith was Judaism. She received 6 awards, including Ophir Award for Best Actress, Prix France Culture Cinéma. Her cause of death was lung cancer. She was buried at Kiryat Shaul Cemetery.
