Biography
Rupiah Banda (* February 13, 1937 in Gwanda; † March 11, 2022 in Lusaka) was a 4th president of Zambia (2008–2011); 1937–2022. He was 85 years old. He was married to Thandiwe Banda. He had 7 children. His education included Addis Ababa University, Lund University, Wolfson College, Rusangu University and Munali Secondary School. His faith was Anglican Communion. His cause of death was colorectal cancer. He was buried at Embassy Park.
