Biography
Ruth Asawa (* January 24, 1926 in Norwalk; † August 5, 2013 in San Francisco) was a japanese American sculptor. She was 87 years old. Her education included Black Mountain College, University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and Wisconsin State College of Milwaukee. She was awarded the Women's Caucus for Art Lifetime Achievement Award.
