Ruth Brown (* January 12, 1928 in Portsmouth; † November 17, 2006 in Las Vegas) was an american singer-songwriter. She was 78 years old. She had 2 children. She studied at I. C. Norcom High School. Her awards include Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Her cause of death was myocardial infarction.
