Ryszard Kapuściński (* March 4, 1932 in Pinsk; † January 23, 2007 in Warsaw) was a polish journalist, photographer, poet and author. He was 74 years old. He studied at University of Warsaw. His faith was Roman Catholic. He received 10 awards, including Commander with Star of the Order of Polonia Restituta, Knight of the Order of Polonia Restituta. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Powązki Military Cemetery.
