Biography
S. Yizhar (* September 27, 1916 in Rehovot; † August 21, 2006 in Gedera) was an israeli writer and politician. He was 89 years old. He was married to Noemi Smilansky. He studied at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He received 6 awards, including Israel Prize, Bialik Prize. His cause of death was cardiovascular disease.
