Sada Thompson (* September 27, 1927 in Des Moines; † May 4, 2011 in Danbury) was an american actress. She was 83 years old. Her education included Carnegie Mellon University and Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School. Her awards include Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play and Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Her cause of death was lung cancer.
