Sam Shepard (* November 5, 1943 in Fort Sheridan; † July 27, 2017 in Midway) was an american playwright and actor. He was 73 years old. He was married to O-Lan Jones. He had 3 children. His education included Mt. San Antonio College, Duarte High School and Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. He received 7 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Pulitzer Prize for Drama. His cause of death was amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
