Biography
Sebastião Salgado (* February 8, 1944 in Aimorés; † May 23, 2025 in Neuilly-sur-Seine) was a brazilian photographer. He was 81 years old. He was married to Lélia Wanick Salgado. His education included University of Paris, University of São Paulo and Federal University of Espírito Santo. His faith was Christianity. He received 9 awards, including Hasselblad Award, Princess of Asturias Award for the Arts. His cause of death was leukemia.
