Sharon Jones (* May 4, 1956 in Augusta; † November 18, 2016 in Cooperstown) was an american soul funk singer from NYC. She was 60 years old. Her education included Brooklyn College and Thomas Jefferson High School. Her cause of death was pancreatic cancer. She was buried at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens.
