Biography
Sofia Gubaidulina (* October 24, 1931 in Chistopol; † March 13, 2025 in Appen) was a soviet and Russian composer. She was 93 years old. Her education included Kazan Conservatory and Moscow Conservatory. Her faith was Eastern Orthodox Church. She received 8 awards, including Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts order, Knight Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
