Sonia Pierre (* June 4, 1963 in Villa Altagracia; † December 4, 2011 in Villa Altagracia) was a haitian-Dominican human rights activist. She was 48 years old. She received 4 awards, including International Women of Courage Award, Ginetta Sagan Award. Her cause of death was myocardial infarction.
