Biography
Stephanie L. Kwolek (* July 31, 1923 in New Kensington; † June 18, 2014 in Wilmington) was an american chemist, inventor of Kevlar. She was 90 years old. Her education included Margaret Morrison Carnegie College and Massey University. She received 10 awards, including Howard N. Potts Medal, Perkin Medal. She was buried at Saint Mary Cemetery.
