Svend Asmussen (* February 28, 1916 in Copenhagen; † February 7, 2017 in Dronningmølle) was a danish jazz violinist. He was 100 years old. He studied at Metropolitanskolen. His awards include Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog and Ben Webster Prize.
