Svetlana Velmar-Janković (* February 1, 1933 in Belgrade; †April 9, 2014 in Belgrade) was a serbian writer. She was 81 years old. She studied at University of Belgrade Faculty of Philology. She received 4 awards, including NIN Prize, Andrić prize. She was buried at Belgrade New Cemetery.
