His education included University of Warsaw and Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Marszałka Stanisława Małachowskiego w Płocku. His faith was Catholic Church. He received 6 awards, including Golden Medal for Merit to Culture, Great Cross with Star and Sash of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. His cause of death was pneumonia. He was buried at Forest Cemetery in Laski.
