Biography
Shuntarō Tanikawa (* December 15, 1931 in Suginami; †November 13, 2024 in Tokyo) was a japanese poet. He was 92 years old. He was married to Eriko Kishida and Yōko Sano. He studied at Toyotama High School, Tokyo. He received 6 awards, including Hanatsubaki Award for Contemporary Poetry, Noma award for children's literature. His cause of death was senility.
