Biography
Tom Lantos (* February 1, 1928 in Budapest; † February 11, 2008 in Walter Reed National Military Medical Center) was an u.S. Representative from California. He was 80 years old. His education included University of Washington and University of California, Berkeley. He received 8 awards, including Presidential Medal of Freedom, Democracy Service Medal. His cause of death was esophageal cancer. He was buried at Congressional Cemetery.
