Tom Petty (* October 20, 1950 in Gainesville; † October 2, 2017 in UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center) was an american musician. He was 66 years old. He was married to Jane Benyo and Dana Petty. He studied at Gainesville High School. He was awarded the Florida Artists Hall of Fame. His cause of death was drug overdose.
