Ulrich Plenzdorf (* October 26, 1934 in Berlin; † August 9, 2007 in Berlin) was a german author and dramatist. He was 72 years old. He studied at Leipzig University. His awards include Ingeborg Bachmann Prize and Grimme-Preis. He was buried at Vierlinden.
