Václav Vorlíček (* June 3, 1930 in Prague; † February 5, 2019 in Prague) was a czech director and scriptwriter. He was 88 years old. He studied at Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. His awards include Annual award ACFK and KVIFF President´s Award for Outstanding Contribution to Czech Cinema. His cause of death was lung cancer. He was buried at Vyšehrad cemetery.
