Biography
Vera Rubin (* July 23, 1928 in Philadelphia; † December 25, 2016 in Princeton) was an american astronomer and physicist. She was 88 years old. She was married to Robert Joshua Rubin. Her education included Georgetown University, Cornell University and Vassar College. Her faith was Judaism. She received 10 awards, including National Medal of Science, Gruber Prize in Cosmology.
