Biography
Violeta Chamorro (* October 18, 1929 in Rivas; † June 14, 2025 in San José) was a president of Nicaragua from 1990 to 1997. She was 95 years old. She was married to Pedro Joaquín Chamorro Cardenal. She had 4 children. Her education included Our Lady of the Lake University and Blackstone College for Girls. Her awards include Giuseppe Motta Medal, Order of Isabella the Catholic and Collar of the Order of Isabella the Catholic.
