Vizma Belševica (* May 30, 1931 in Riga; † August 6, 2005 in Riga) was a latvian writer. She was 74 years old. She had at least 1 child (1 son). She studied at Maxim Gorky Literature Institute. Her awards include Order of the Three Stars and Tomas Tranströmer prize. She was buried at Rainis Cemetery.
