Wally Schirra (* March 12, 1923 in Hackensack; † May 3, 2007 in La Jolla) was an american astronaut. He was 84 years old. His education included New Jersey Institute of Technology, United States Naval Test Pilot School, United States Naval Academy and Dwight Morrow High School. He received 5 awards, including Emmy Award, National Aviation Hall of Fame. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at sea.
