Biography
Wayne Shorter (* August 25, 1933 in Newark; β March 2, 2023 in Los Angeles) was an american jazz saxophonist and composer. He was 89 years old. His education included Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development and Newark Arts High School. His faith was Soka Gakkai. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship, NEA Jazz Masters and Doris Duke Performing Artist Award.
